Dear passenger,

The airport voice is part of an information system that informs and guides passengers in a controlled manner through the airport. After entering the airport, passengers are guided through its system, queuing, strolling, walking, or rushing becoming part of the airport’s flow. With the goal of controlling these human interactions any form of possible chaos is minimised.

In this installation, shown at the Duty Free Zone at Dutch Design Week 2024, visitors were invited to finish airport announcements. Announcements that range from causing chaos, clarity, reflection, fun or any other emotion. All contributions were broadcasted into the exhibition on six different speaker, each related to a place in the airport.

This is a message for all non-European passport holders. We ask you to grab a free Dutch Passport at the Exit of the Airport.
