36daysoftype
36daysoftype is a challenge in which designers, illustrators and graphic artists upload a letter or number every day. The first 24 days we upload the letters a to z and the last 9 days numbers from 1 to 9.
This year I focused less on effects but looked more into the form of letters. All the letters are made digital, but for the numbers I experimented with paper. Every number is made from real paper and animated using stop motion photography.
Creating a work everyday gives me a lot of energy. Because there’s a short deadline it also helps me to just create stuff and not geting stuck into the process. In addition, i love experimenting with different forms and shapes . It also helps me to train myself to create stronger visual images.
All letters and numbers are posted on Instagram @thijmen.peters
